From our ownership down, we’re all Texans. Our leadership has extensive experience in energy management, marketing and consulting. Our leaders have been involved in every aspect of the Texas energy industry from meter reading to natural gas marketing, and even working in the oil and gas fields. We had extensive experience in the Texas energy market long before we entered the deregulated electricity scene.
When we entered the electricity market, we committed for the long-haul. It was never our goal to swoop in, make a profit, sell-out and run. We knew this industry would require hard work and commitment to thousands of customers. Our mission is simple: to be a people-oriented business with a stubborn dedication to help Texans save money on their electricity bills.
We are hard-working Texans who believe in rolling up our sleeves and keeping our nose to the grindstone. We really are just like you. We truly do feel your pain and that’s not just a cliché. That is why we remain obstinately committed to keeping our overhead low so we are able to keep our electricity rates low.
One of our original goals was smart growth. We didn’t want to “get too big for our breeches,” so to speak. We knew if we grew too big, too fast we wouldn’t have the ability to offer the great customer service we are sincerely committed to providing. At the same time, we knew if we didn’t grow we wouldn’t be able to stay in business and if we didn’t add staff to meet our growing customer base, we would still not be able to offer that same desired service. Smart growth is a real challenge, always pushing and pulling at the seams.
While growth is high on our ladder to success, it is never at the expense of our existing customer base. Every customer is truly important to us. Our customer base is a huge ingredient built into the foundation of this company. We only service the Texas electricity market. We focus on our own backyard and the people that are just like us. We are Texas proud, Texas Power proud, that is! We’re just like you.
