We’re not sure if any of you have noticed when calling our Customer Care Department, but we all have a very distinct dialect. Some call it a twang, we call it friendly! The people who answer our phones live in Texas, not in another state…or another country and they’re dedicated to providing outstanding customer care. We may have let a few Customer Care folk slip in here that weren’t born and bred Texans, but they all “got here as fast as they could.” We are proud of our Texas roots and our Texas heritage (can you tell?) and we are honored to serve anyone living in the great state of Texas!

Real Simple
At Texas Power, one of our first missions was to keep electricity simple. When deregulation was new things seemed very complicated. We set out to simplify electricity by sticking with only one plan and no contracts. No one could have predicted the summers we have had with outrageous temperatures, spikes in electricity usage, followed by horrendous hurricanes leading to natural gas increases. In particular, the summers of 2005 and 2008 were devastating to all of us in many ways. Many of our faithful customers began communicating to us that they would prefer a sense of security with guaranteed rates. Once our customers spoke, we began providing the products requested. We will always serve and satisfy as many of our customers as we are able.
