Your rights as a customer

As a Texas Power customer, your rights will always be our first and primary consideration. We are dedicated to providing you with accurate and easy to understand information regarding your rights as an electricity customer. If you have questions not addressed on these pages, please contact us at 1.866.SHINE ON (1.866.744.6366) or email us at shineon@texaspoweronline.com. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Texas Power is governed by the rules and regulations of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (the “Commission” or PUCT). The PUCT requires us to provide you with “Your Rights As a Customer”, but again, we welcome the opportunity to serve you above and beyond this required disclosure so never hesitate to contact us if you are unsure of anything pertaining to your relationship with Texas Power.

Texas Power will not refuse to provide anyone with electric service because of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, lawful source of income, disability, or familial status. Texas Power will not refuse to provide electric service to anyone because of location in an economically-distressed geographic area or if anyone qualifies for low-income affordability or energy efficiency services.
