What is PowerUp™ Arlington?

PowerUp Arlington is an innovative relationship between the City of Arlington and Arlington-based Texas Power. This program offers competitive and reliable electricity service to the residents of Arlington while giving back to the community we all call “home.”

Since we turned on our light for the first time in 2005, we’ve been focused on bringing old-fashioned service to the communities we serve and live in at a reasonable price. Now, we are pleased to be involved in an exciting new program that allows us not only to offer our electric service to our fellow Texans, but it also allows us to help make a difference in our very own backyard: Arlington, Texas.

Texas Power, desiring healthy stewardship and sustainability, has been focused on improving our hometown of Arlington since we started. As active members of the Arlington Green Team since 2009, Texas Power has partnered with the city and its similar efforts toward conservation, efficiency, and the preservation of our own local resources.

How will you be contributing to the community with PowerUp™ Arlington?

It’s easy! By signing up with Texas Power, Arlington’s preferred electric provider, a portion of proceeds will automatically go to support our City and its services, and the best part is that it doesn’t cost you anything extra.

At the same time you are helping the community, you will be served by a retail electric provider that JD Power & Associates has consistently recognized for service that is above industry standards. You will also be enjoying a competitive and affordable rate on your electricity service, and, for a limited time, a $25.00 bill credit may be applied to your account.* Finally, you will also be utilizing electricity that ranges from 10% to 100% green, depending on the plan you choose.
